Being Sick and the Power of French Onion Soup and Scones

Hai Guys!

So today I stayed home sick from school, because I was dying and really tired and all the terrible things that can go wrong did. But in the process of being sick I had a rather great day.
I learned how to plug a car tire thanks to my dad, along with that I learned how to check the PSI of the tires and theoretically how to jump a car... theoretically, I have my doubts that I could do it in real life.
And then when I got home my mother started making French Onion soup, and I realized that everything was going to get better. I don't really understand it but soup when you don't feel good...it just makes everything okay again, even if everything still sucks. If that made sense raise your hand!
After everyone left me and I was home alone I decided that making scones would be the most brilliant idea ever. My friend Dan (Dr. (w)horrible) was supposed to come and eat them with me but because he didn't have the car I guess I shall just have to eat them all myself. Such a pity.
Now have you ever just spent so much time talking to one person and just felt freakin' happy afterwards? I mean you don't even need to like like that person, but if someone holds a 4 hour conversation with you and you enjoy the entire time? Its pretty freaking amazing.
Lack of sleep is one of the main reasons I'm always tired.
So today I wrote a poem, and I would love to share it with all of you. Its in it's draft stages so PLEASE don't judge too harshly
and I don't have a title...but here it is

Sun-burnt skin, decorated with pearls
dances along my hand
such sweet symphony is this burden
a creation that hides everything
The world is so dark, yet
the sun is everlastingly bright
sweet kisses, gorging upon an intake of breath
for those who are lost behind the gasp
the many days left alone to fester
to rot
to grow?
why. it is merely a question asked of us all
for someone who dreams to often
it is calling for them to say yes
for them to be alive
fireworks upon my face, burning their designs into my being
this, my love, is the world as it will be
words called from afar in anger
bursts of hate brought upon by themselves
this is life as it will be
this is life at its finest.
How. it is merely a question asked of us allfor those who cannot live a life of love
it is calling them to run
for them to hide away.
Shimmers in the corners of my eyes, sparkling in the past
you see, my dear, there is more hidden then you shall ever understand
who. a question that is asked of us all
for those who refuse to see the world
it is calling them to open up
to expose their musty pages to the sun
and throw their history like dust to the wind
to remember, to forget.
Splotches on my skin, shaking with hands that are eager to learn
and yet you wonder, darling, of what lies beneath the surface
what. a question that is asked of us all
for anyone that dares to ask
it calls for them to set down the pen and look around the world
to let go of the wires and the code
it is a question that I cannot answer for you my love
child of mine, carry my heart into the sun
Smile for the days that everything changes
wish upon the world and hope that those fireworks never land again
to burn into our souls
for that sun-burnt skin
those pearls with simple decorum
is what we have grown to know in this cold world.

Hope you enjoyed, I would love feedback on this one. Remember its supposed to be more slam than anything. So put some sort of rhythm to the rhyme when you read it

Have a wonderful day guys!

Music: Including the Wonders of Europop

HAI GUYS!,

So I was hanging out with my best friend Ives and we came up with a new word. For all those people who you love like family but treat more like friends? Framily! I feel like it should be spelled Fram3ily and the three would be silent but I think that for now we will keep it as Framily.
In that magical time hanging out in his car and going on adventures (we drove to the middle of nowhere and back) we stumbled upon the wonderful thing called EuroPop that was lurking in my Ipod.

Its a dangerous thing people, I'm telling you!
Its so darn addicting.

Now you have to understand, Ives isn't exactly the kind of person to sing, or to dance, or to jam his freaking heart out to some music (UNLESS ITS DUBSTEP) but dude. EuroPop is magical.

So when I came home I HAD to listen to music, I wasn't tired and things had to be done so I decided it was youtube time. Since I still had EuroPop stuck in my head I turned on one of the only songs that I really knew "Dr. Jones" By the band Aqua. And jammed away over and over again.
You know how youtube has that side thing that is like "we have cool videos just like this so check them out!" (okay so it doesn't really say that but you know what I mean). Anyways I was clicking around on that bar thing and ran into Basshunter. Which I had heard before but never truly listened to. It's amazing, enough said.
Did you know that clicking your way on that little bar can run you into an interesting direction? I went from Europop to the early 90's music, you know things like Big Brovas, TLC and Afroman. Then it bounced me back to this era, with Hot Chelle Rae and Call me maybe (I swear that song is EVERYWHERE). and then by JUST clicking on that little side bar thing (I am renaming it to magical bar thingy) I found my way all the way back to Europop.

Youtube is amazing.
its so darn addicting.

So that was my adventure last night that kept me up till 5 in the morning. And let me tell you. Europop is soooo worth it.

Happy Youtubing

Friends and Fireworks, Oh and New Words!

Hai Guys!
How has everyone been, long time not talky.
I think that the first order of business here should be the fact that there are now new words in my vocabulary. Not technically real words but who the hell is going to tell me that my word isn't real, no one! That's who.

Amazazing- I do believe this one is a mixture of amazing and zazerific, which is the word to follow this one.
Zazerific- pizazz and terrificness.
Terrificness- because apparently it isn't a word it is hence know as be amazingness of being terrific.

The next order of buisness is to talk about this weird holiday we are having (Hehe weird holiday, look at me talking about it like its weather) Its one of my favourites just because we get to blow things up, but other than that I feel as if it has lost its meaning. Im not going to go through the details but what we should be celebrating (and do not count me as some crazy America fanatic)  is our country's birthday. Everyone loves birthdays. "Happy birthday to you/ happy birthday to you/ happy birthday dear America/ happy birthday to you!" Woot random singing.

So I have a friend, I know its a shocker, but he has a blog also. And I feel that everyone who reads this blog should check him out.
He has some really great artwork and poetry on his blog and frankly I believe its one of the better blogs I've read, far better than me rambling on in an nonsensical way.

ANYWAYS!
as for the title, only half or maybe a third of it has been explained. Fireworks and friends has yet to be divulged.

fireworks are awesome and sometimes they make your ears bleed but that doesnt matter becuase  guess what, they're freaking awesome. My family  has some great things planned for tonight and I'm super excited to see what the hell happens.

As for friends, I wanted all of the people who read my blog, seeing as most of them are either friends or family, to know that I love them and that I hope they enjoy this wonderful day.

Go Blow something up everyone

Peace in (not out) and keep being Oddsome:D

Some random drawings

 Hai Guys!

So Ive been drawing a lot lately (I'm going to keep things relatively short) and I figured you might want to see some of the things Ive been doing.
The first one is a creation of my own and she doesnt have a name, if you comment and name her it would be wonderful. I drew her today, the medium was graphite pencil (number 2 lead) and paper.
The second one was actually drawn for a friend of mine at his request. It is Shikamaru from the anime/manga Naruto and was drawn with the same medium as the last drawing (Graphite pencil and paper) and it was drawn for my friend John W.

THANKS GUYS if you have any requests or anything please just comment or shoot me an email if you know it.

I am who I am: A poem

Hai Guys,
Okay my fellow Blogians. I don't know if you know it but I am a poet (I hate rhymes. I hate them) Anyways this is a poem I wrote today

Enjoy!

I’m not the person that you want me to be
and I don’t think it’ll ever happen
that fictional character you’ve created for me in your mind
Is only a dream that won’t come true.
sure I’m a little crazy, and sure I can’t always think straight
But I am who I am and who says thoughts have to be in straight lines anyways
I don’t want to be disappointment
But if that’s what I am to you
A rainbow haired, foolish girl who won’t live up to your expectations
Then drop that bar because it’s not going to happen
I’m tired of reaching out and grabbing at something that is above my head
and yes, that was a short joke
and yes I laugh at those too.
So Sure I’m a little off balance and sure I like it barefoot
But I am who I am and those shoes are prisons for your feet so why wear them anyways
I believe in Nargles
and I remember the memories given to me by those I’ve lost
I think carrots are magical
and music is momentous
I believe in magic and fairies
and I’m still a child underneath so please don’t break me.
And sure I cover my face in makeup and sure I jingle when I walk
But I am who I am and jingling is a fun way to express your feelings
My parents are always there for me
I have a family like everyone else
I use mouthwash and sometimes I floss in between for hours just for fun
And I read fantasy and disappear for hours
Can you believe that people can be so judgmental?
So sure I drink monsters often and sure I wish I had a moustache
But I am who I am and moustaches are awesome so keep laughing
Now I can’t honestly say that Ill change
but I know that I’ve thought about it.
Your words and actions hurt when you
attack, or whatever you want to call it
I’m not calling myself a victim
Because I don’t want to be just another one
I want to be normal but I know it’s not going to happen
Just like that dream you have
Of me being the perfect girl.
Because I enjoy the unreal
And I believe in the fake and false
I’m a gullible person
who is sure of very few things
But I’m sure that I love cookies and that I can’t stop thinking about you sometimes
and I am who I am and you are constantly in my mind
I am who I am
And whatever that is, whatever I am
Is what I want to be. I want to be me.

Frankenstein and Wicked

Hai Guys!
yeah there is a connection with the title I swear! AND SO HERE IT IS ALL MY FELLOW BLOGIANS, the grand unveiling of the connection between the two things in the title. Plays and Musicals.
To start off with the first, Frankenstein:
I think to start one should start with the beginning and so the beginning is that in ninth grade my friend Hannah and I started the drama elective at our school DSST, it was the first elective that was a student run thing and was actually art based. So we didn't think it would amount to anything incredibly big, but this year they hired a drama teacher to come and teach at our school. We now are putting on the first ever production of Frankenstein: a modern retelling, written and directed by G.M Thompson. So that's where the first part comes in with all its grim and eerie awesomeness (come see it if you can this Friday or Saturday at Denver School of Science and Technology, five dollar entrance fee. doors open at 7 show starts at 7:30. its a blast!) And now for the second part.
Wicked.
I again think to start I should start at the very beginning, for it is a very good place to start. I went to see the musical Wicked with my mother on April 18th and it was simply amazing. After the show she bought me a shirt. They were having this kind of raffle for charity (Broadway Cares is the name of it) and I managed to persuade my mother to buy one of the 20 dollar tickets. These tickets were to be able to walk onstage with the cast of Wicked on Thursday the 26th. I put my name is once, and a few days later received a call. I won. And so tonight I was on stage five times with the cast, I had a costume, I got two free tickets for my parents and I got to watch the entire show from backstage with the cast and crew of Wicked. I have so many stories from it. I got to celebrate Fiyero's birthday (Happy 22nd to Andy Kelso {Fiyero}) and had my very own dressing room area. I was treated so kindly by everyone and got suggestions on how to start being a part of the backstage or even onstage process through the DCPA.
So even though I missed Frankenstein's second production night I was able to be onstage with the cast of Wicked. I have pictures that I will upload when I find the gosh damn cord to my gosh damn camera.

It was the most amazing night, if you have any questions or want to hear a story or two, just comment and you shall receive.

Frankenstein and Wicked to everyone!

Fibonacci Sequence and Momentyness

Hai guys!
Have you ever just had this nervous tick that you cant seem to get rid of? Well mine recently has seemed to be the Fibonacci Sequence. My mind just goes over and over and over it all the time. Even had a dream about it the other night. I was sitting in a completely dark room, surrounded by 13 candles (a fibonacci number) reciting the sequence up to the point where my brain knows it.
So seeing as I had this dream, and I remembered it today, I decided to spend what free time I had doing the Fibonacci sequence to as far as I could. And well guys, I made it to the 300th digit of the sequence
which in case you wanted to know is: 222,232,244,629,420,445,529,739,893,461,909,967,206,666,939,096,499,764,990,979,600 (Yeah I managed to do that like a boss today, cause I'm cool right?).

Other than that I had a pretty good day. I went a baseball game and froze my ass off. No ,seriously guys, I don't have an ass now, it was that cold. that my ass literally fell off. Okay so that might be an exaggeration but still, it was really cold.
Then we went out to dinner, and I got tea, which was delicious. Have you ever just drank a glass of tea and felt like everything is going to be amazing for the rest of the day

Guys! I have dreams of Orca whales and Dinosaurs.

^Pardon my random moment, I'm feeling momenty today, which means that my day has been filled with all kinds of random moments. Like talking in Lyrics. Which seems to happen quite frequently when I talk to my self.

I also just changed this entire post into this super cool font that makes me feel like I am typing on a typewriter, man if I could own a type writer.

Some food for thought: WHY IS IT CALLED FOOD FOR THOUGHT!?  that's not it, my food for thought of the day is why are people discriminated against as much as they are? Is it because it is human nature or is it a conscious choice

As you may have noticed in the title there is a new word, that I plan on coining along with the word Oddsome, its called Momentyness
Its a derivative of Momenty, which is an emotion: a state of feeling like you are going to have a lot of random times in the near future.

Well I think that is it for this exact moment.

Peace in (not out) and keep being Oddsome!
